SSC MTS 2019 Eligibility Criteria


SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019 : There are three major criteria that a candidate is required is required to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2019 Exam. Let,s have a look at all these three criteria :
SSC MTS 2019 Nationality
A candidate must be either

(a) a citizen of India or

(b) a subject of Nepal or

(c) a subject of Bhutan or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting of India. Provided that candidates belonging to (b), (c), (d) and (e) categories mentioned above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Note: Candidates in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be allowed to appear  for the exam but the offer of appointment will be provided only after the certificate has been issued by the government.

SSC MTS Age Limit

The age limit prescribed for SSC MTS is 18 to 25 years. The date of birth to be entered by candidates in the application from should be same as recorded in Class 10/Matriculation/Secondary examination certificate. Candidates can check below the relaxation in upper age limit as per category.

SSC MTS 2019 Educational Qualification

A candidate is required to pass Matriculation or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board or University or Institute.
