SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria : Age Limit, Educational Qualification and Age Relaxation
Candidates who are aspiring to appear for the SSC CGL, should know all the SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria related to educational qualifications, age limits, and physical standards.
SSC CGL Education Qualification
The basic and compulsory education qualification required under SSC CGL Eligibility is a Bachelor Degree / Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
SSC CGL Education qualification for various posts are given below :

The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however, they must possess Essential qualification on or before 01st August 2020.
For posts of Assistant Section Officer (CSS), Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under M/o Corporate Affairs, Assistant (GSI) in M/o Mines, Computer Proficiency Test has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.
SSC CGL Age Limit
As per the last SSC CGL 2020 notification from Staff Selection Commission, the age limit for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2020 will be calculated as on 1st August 2020.

Note : Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate only will be accepted by the Commission.
⚫ The age limit under the SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria is different for different posts. There is a provision of different pay scales for different posts after clearing SSC CGL.
⚫ As per SSC CGL 2020 Notification, the commission has changed the age limit criteria for the various post. The posts and their changes age limits are given below :

SSC CGL Physical Standards : Prescribed Height, Weight and Vision
SSC has a prescribed physical standard eligibility for the following posts : Sub Inspector NIA, Inspector in Central Excise, Examiner, Preventive Officer and /Inspector & Sub-Inspector in CBN.
Candidates who fulfill the specified physical measurements will be eligible for the respective posts. You can check the complete criteria are given below :
Note: As per the latest notification, PwD (Person with Disabilities) candidates are not eligible for the post of Assistant Section Officer in Intelligence Bureau.
